Hi my name is Coco. I am a spayed little girl, only 10 months old. I was raised with a child & will be happy with other children. At 11 pounds I am easy to handle. I am housebroken, crate trained and totally vetted. A good place for me is an active home I love to retrieve, play with kids and go for walks. I am a very pretty soft coated long  hair dachshund mix.  Love, cuddles & play is the name of my game.                                                                                                      This is a courtesy post. YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see menu under "adoption info" for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
