|
These two babies have come into rescue because of hard times. Their owner had to move and couldn't take them with him. Their parents are originally from Mexico and have come from a long line of Xolo's. They are about 6 to 7 months old, weigh around 25 lbs. right now and are knee high. They will grow to be around 30 to 35 lbs since they are standard Xolo's.
They are typical Xolo's who will need skin and teeth care throughout their lives. This is a very unusual and ancient breed from Mexico and like the Chinese Crested, can have skin and teeth issues.
Both dogs are playful, loving and affectionate but will require some help with socialization and acclimating to different types of situations and environments. They also do well with other dogs.
We would prefer an adopter who is breed knowledgeable but will help to educate anyone who is interested in adopting one or both of these special dogs and feels that they can be dedicated owners.
Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog. Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal. We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
Please read about our adoption policies and procedures before calling or emailing with questions. Many of your questions can be answered by reading our information. Keep in mind that the first step toward adoption is to fill out an application. Also, WE DO NOT SHIP!
