A loving, people oriented bird

This sweet and friendly girl is about 15 years old and looking for an extra special home.  She is a Moluccan/Umbrella hybrid. She loves to give kisses, snuggle and be held.  She would do well in any large bird-experienced home.  She had to be given up by her owner who became seriously ill.  She can talk, and her favorite phrase is "it's no big deal!"

Requirements to adopt this bird:  1.  Smoke free home  2.  Large bird experience  3.  have time to spend with bird on daily basis.  4.  indoor only

The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the animals we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.

We are ALL volunteers; there are NO paid employees in our rescue. The adoption fee is used to help with veterinary care. All of the animals in our care are fully vetted. Any and all medical issues that our vets find or that arise while in foster care are treated.
