Chappie is now "Dennis" and loving his new life. He's on the go all the time, going to work with his new mom and 4 legged brother, going to the beach and has become a new member of the Vancouver, BC dachshund club. Here's what his mom has to say about him:
Dennis has been to the doggie beach here and has been around town to the parks visiting with Colin's wiener friends and he is a big hit with the local dachshund people. He has settled in nicely and likes to sleep up against Gerry in the big bed. Our house is his house now and he loves being here and already seems to accept that this is his "forever home" with his big brother Colin.Bye 4 now,
Nancy, Gerry, Dennis, and Colin
Chappie is a happy go lucky guy who would love a human who was home most of the time to love on him! He's a two year old wire haired doxie, a rare dapple piebald, whose lines originated directly from Germany. He's also small for a wire hair, actually a tweenie because he only weighs in at 15 lbs. Besides being colorful on the outside, this boy has a one in a million personality: loving, playful, social, and did we mention happy? Even though his owners moved out of state and couldn't take him with them, and even though his best buddy, another dachshund was adopted, he still is a cheerful little dog. He loves to play and go for walks as he is a young dog, and an added bonus - he loves kids! If you're interested in this little guy, please fill out our online application.
