Maggie is a sweet, gentle, loving little white beauty about 10 pounds and 8 years old, with a medium length silk coat (her coat will most likely grow out, since we think she’s been clipped).  She is a cross between a Papillon and possibly Japanese Chin.  She is healthy and has no current major medical issues.  Maggie, after being adopted from our rescue group 7 years ago, has recently been returned because her mom has passed away and no one in the family could take her. You see, once ResQ MAKES A COMMITMENT TO AN ANIMAL AND TAKES THEM INTO OUR CARE, THAT COMMITMENT IS FOR LIFE SO IF THE ANIMAL EVER LOSES ITS HUMAN COMPANION,  IT HAS A PLACE WITH US!  

We our looking for a calm living situation for Maggie.  This poor girl was dearly loved for 7 years and was a constant companion to an elderly woman who died suddenly.  She sooo much misses her mom but is so willing to love again.  In spite of the upset in her life, she quietly sits by your side and gently licks your hand as if to say, “please, can you be my friend?  I really miss my other friend and I don’t know where she’s gone, but I still feel her love.”

In order to adopt one of these wonderful pups you will be required to: Fill out an adoption application , provide a veterinary reference, agree to a telephone/email screening, have one of our representatives conduct a home visit, and complete and sign an adoption contract.
