This gorgeous, 80 lb., 2 year old boy sports a wonderful personality as well.  He is goofy, playful and highly energetic - he's a 2 year old puppy at heart.  He would benefit from some group training classes and will need a strong person to handle him at first, as he is all muscle.  He would greatly benefit from long hikes or runs each day.  Young children would get knocked over by this guy, and absolutely no cats or companion birds, as he was previously used as a hunting dog.  He is gentle though, with smaller dogs.  Grooming requirements are high as anyone with poodle experience knows, and ear maintenance is required to prevent ear infections.  Also, daily exercise is a must for this boy. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
