Pixie and her brother have been adopted together!  They are going to be spoiled and loved.  Thank you Yolanda!

Pixie is a super, super little dog.   She is sooo sweet and well mannered that you would never know she's only 8 months old.  She's still getting used to the world but is catching on very quickly!  She's housetrained, she knows how to go up and down stairs, ride quietly in the car and walk on a leash - all learned within the space of a few days.  Everyone at the dog park has fallen in love with her and they pass her around like a little baby - well, she is!  She tends to gravitate towards women but only takes a bit of time to get used to men.   She's shy at first but once she knows you, she warms up.  She'll make some lucky person out there a wonderful lifelong companion. 

For those of you in Chico and the surrounding areas who are interested in Pixie, her foster mom will be traveling there Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for the month of October.  Otherwise, she'll be in Redding the remaining time.

Adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, flea treatment, heartworm test and preventative, wormings, and all other medical care needed to ensure a healthy dog.  Fees vary, based on the care required, age and needs of the animal.  We rely strictly on our adoption fees since we don't receive any outside funding.
The adoption fees we require do not cover the medical expenses, let alone the daily cost of taking care of the dogs we hope to re-home. Additional expenses are out-of-pocket.
