What a sad story for this little girl. It just so happened that our agency president and founder was at the shelter rescuing a cat and she saw this little yorkie-poo. This girl was destined to be euthanized that very same day, but because the shelter had had to kill so many dogs, they didn't get to her.
Was it fate? We think so. So now we have her and are hoping that someone can help her through this trying time. She is sooo scared. She was found running down the street, and a kind person stopped and opened the car door and she jumped right in. They took her to the shelter and because she was so terrified, she tried to bite. So the staff decided that she should be put down. Luckily for her, she is now in our care and even though she is scared, we believe that with time and patience she will make a wonderful companion.
So we're hoping that someone out there with a huge heart will take it upon themselves to again rescue this girl.
Right now, we can't get pictures of this little girl since she has kennel cough from being in the shelter, but keep checking our site for updates. In the meantime, if you're interested, please complete the following preapplication and copy to our email address.
