Prince's brother, Duke has found his forever home. Here's what Prince's foster mom has to say about him: This little fella is living with us and he is such a lover. He is gentle and well behaved. He just wants so desperately for someone to love him and give him a forever home. He follows me whereever I go and loves to listen to music (espec ially 60's). He loves chew toys. And when he sleeps he puts his head on one of his stuffed animals or folds up his blankie until it is just right for a pillow. He rolls over in hopes of getting his belly rubbed and is great with kids. When you talk to him he cocks his head as if he is truly listening to every word you are saying. He is truly a lover and best friend.
These guys are sweet, happy, sick, lonely little guys. How sad is it that they are discards! No longer needed after being breeders, kept in a shed all their lives without love and attention. They were filthy, starved for love, all heartworm positive, some with other medical issues. This is a huge burden financially for any rescue. But how can you say no when you see their faces - say no, because you are older and sick and yes heartworm positive - say, you don't deserve a chance to finally be at peace and be loved as a treasured pet! We believe that all dogs deserve a chance! Even the sick and old, they did not ask to be born into a breeders cage and kept as a prisoner of human greed and profit. Please if you are able to adopt a special needs dog let us know. If you are a pug lover or dog lover of any kind and want to help financially, you can donate via pay pal or check to ResQ Animal Coalition, 2940 Churn Creek Rd., Redding, CA 96002 (tax deductible).
