Tatonka is a toy male poodle, cafe au lait in color, about 1 year old and 9 lbs.  He is very energetic and would love one other young dog to play with.   Tonkie must have a stay at home mom or dad who can spend the time with him that he craves.  He is very needy and will be by your side at all times.  He is crate trained and doesn't have separation anxiety but just needs to interact with his people.  Tonkie gets along with all dogs, cats, kids (over 8 please), is very friendly and sociable.  Adoption fee is $275.  If interested please fill out our online app.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
