Athena is a 10 mos. old Cairn mix who is very mellow, lady-like and calm natured.  She is extremely well mannered.  She would love a quiet home where she can show off her stellar qualities. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
