Jasper is the most adorable, loving awesome cat we've seen in a long time!  He's about 3 years old, and all he wants to do is love on you.  He's calm, mellow, doesn't have an issue with other cats or small dogs (we haven't tested him with large dogs). 

But he does need to be an only cat because he has tested posted for FIV:  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus.  Its possible that he has been immunized for this virus and that's why he tested positive, but since he came from a shelter we have no way of telling.  The test only tests for the antibodies and not the actual virus.   Therefore, testing of strays or adopted cats is inconclusive, since it is impossible to know whether or not they have been vaccinated in the past.  This virus is transmissible to other cats, but not to dogs or humans.  At this point in his life, it has no affect on him whatsoever, he's healthy and happy.  MUST BE AN INDOOR ONLY CAT.  Please research this virus before you are willing to make a commitment to this beautiful boy.
