Maddy is a very good listener, as you can see from her pics!  We were telling her the story about how we rescued her and she loved it, cocking her head in the cutest manner!  She is a super sweet 2 year old Bichon who would be a welcome addition to any family. She's very friendly and just wants to be with you. She does have moderate separation anxiety, so it would be best for her if someone were home most of the time or would be willing to take her along wherever they go.  She would also love to be an only dog but seems to get along fine with other dogs too. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
