Starling is a super calm, mellow little 5 year old, 11 pound chi/terrier mix who would be perfect for a retired person to take out on daily walks and just have a lap companion for the rest of the time.  She gets along great with everyone, dogs, cats - you name it.  She's just an all around good girl!  Her adoption fee is $100 which includes everything listed on our website.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match.
