Cookie is a beautiful 1 year old, 10 lb.  Jack Russell/Chi mix who is very sweet, calm (that's not the Jack Russell part!), loving and friendly. He does not have a docked tail.  He gets along well with other dogs, not sure about cats or very young children.  His adoption fee is $125 which includes neuter, current vaccs, wormings, heartworm test.  He is currently taking heartworm preventative. As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
