Sweetie Pie is a 1 to 2 year old Cairn mix who got her name honestly - she is a total sweetheart!  She loves people, is happy go lucky and very submissive with people.  In fact, so much so that we had a hard time getting her to stand up to take pics!  Her only issue is that she is food aggressive with other dogs.  Coming from a shelter situation where you may have to compete with other dogs in the kennel for food, this isn't unusual.  The problem would be manageable if she could be fed separately from other dogs in the household.  She gets along fine with other dogs other than that.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
