Jaxon is a super friendly little Maltese boy who came from  an out of area shelter.  He's a very playful little guy, about 14 lbs., happy go lucky and energetic.  He would do best with an active family or person.  He has the cutest way of standing on his hind legs and pawing at the air when he wants your attention!  He also knows a few commands and shakes. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
