Shon the Bichon is about 4 years old and somewhat shy at first meeting but as you can see from the pics, once he bonds with you he's a happy camper!  He will need an experienced groomer though, as he was probably never groomed before he came to us, but our groomer didn't have any problems with him.  He came from an out of area shelter and was found as a stray. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
