Grissom was adopted by a young family with 2 children, ages 10 and 12 whom he fell in love with at first sight. It was meant to be... Here' what his adoptive mom has to say:
Grissom was rescued from a shelter because his time was up and he was about to be euthanized. He is a purebred 15 lb. Cairn Terrier and has a wonderful personality. He is playful, energetic, loves people, but would probably get along best with a female doggie companion. He would love a home that was familiar with his breed, but even someone who did their research would be welcomed into his heart. Please give Grissom a chance and contact us as soon as possible.
Hi Barbara and Janie and everyone at Resq:
Attached are some recent photos of Grissom. He has been with us
for a little over a year now and is such an integral part of our
family, we can't imagine life without him. He is happy and healthy
(and spoiled!) He is socializing and playing well with other dogs.
His favorite thing to do is run around the house with Shadow chasing
him and then jumping on the bed to watch Shadow continue to run around
looking for him. So funny! His only "job" is to wake the kids up
every morning with licks and wiggling. He has been camping all over the
west (including Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks) and has become
an awesome road trip dog, like his "brother" Shadow. Mostly, he is my
little buddy, always in my lap or following me around. Thank you so
much for rescuing him and saving him for us! We know it was meant to
be.
