|
Mia is a sweet chug or pugawawa or pug-wa (whatever the case)! She's 4 years old and is currently on a diet plan but has already lost some weight. Mia is very shy at first but soon warms up. Mia would prefer to be an only dog but will get along with the other dogs, if they don't bother her. She doesn't like cats and stays away from them - she knows what claws are for!
She was surrendered to our organization by a woman who could no longer care for her. She was obviously spoled rotten and didn't seem to know when she came to us that people are NOT endless sources of food. Mia needs someone who will exercise her daily, continue with her diet plan, and give her the rules, boundaries and limitations that she has never had. Mia has more of the face of the chi, but her body is all pug (lol)! She is graying early like a lot of pugs do, which makes her look a bit older but adds quite a bit of character to that expressive face! $50 adoption fee to the right home.
As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR DOGS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS...NO EXCEPTIONS! WHY? CLICK ON SPAY/NEUTER ON THE LEFT HAND MENU.
In order to adopt one of these wonderful pups please see the side menu under adoption info.
