Madison is a sweet but very energetic 1 year old purebred bichon frise.  She would do well in an active home with another energetic young do to play with.  She's a happy girl, but is somewhat shy in new situations.  Since she's young though, this shouldn't be an ongoing problem.  She is very responsive to training. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
