Grayson is a super sweet Cairn Terrier mix who is the ultimate shaggy dog!  He's very friendly once you get to know him, but a bit shy in new situations.  He's quiet and mellow and seems to get along with just about everybody and everything.  Grayson will need a secure, fenced yard as he is easily frightened and will try to dart off.  Also, someone who is home most of the day and will take the time to train this special boy so that he can be more confident in new situations.  Another doggie companion would help this little guy as well.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
