This adorable little girl was saved from certain death (along with her puppies) by one of our volunteers.  Bella Sue is between 1 and 2 years old and is very small, only standing about 8 inches at the shoulder.  She has the cutest little "one ear up/one ear down" thing going on and has a very sweet and lovable disposition.  Bella has a pronouced underbite but it doesn;t affect her in any way; she is able to eat just fine.  She weighs between 5 and 6 lbs. and will make someone a lifelong, loving companion.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
