Merry is a very sweet Lhasa Apso girl who is about 2 to 3 years old.  Merry is a bit shy at first but soon warms up as soon as she knows you will be nice to her.   She was possibly abused but as she was a stray who ended up in the shelter, we don't know for certain.  We do know that Merry does not get along well with other dogs and probably not cats.  But with humans she is very sweet and affectionate.  We have not tested her with kids. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
