|
Blossom is a very sweet, very small shih tzu who came from a puppy mill. She is shy, hasn't had a lot of himan interaction in her life, but wants to learn. We think she might have been kept in a cage all her life. She responds well to sweet talk, and kind, loving words. She will need a quiet home with someone who is patient and understanding and can slowly bring her out of her shell. Blossom is about 18 mos. old and weighs about 7 lbs.
As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR DOGS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS...NO EXCEPTIONS! WHY? CLICK ON SPAY/NEUTER ON THE LEFT HAND MENU.
In order to adopt one of these wonderful pups please see the side menu under adoption info.
