Sweet Pea is most likely a purebred Havanese, very outgoing and social in nature, about 2 years old and 12 lbs.  She doesn't like meeting new dogs so would prefer to be an only dog.  She could adjust to living with another dog if her human was savvy about how to make that happen.  She would do fine with older kids, is playful and happy and definitely a lap dog. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.  We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it.
