These puppies were born into rescue from a mom who was pregnant in the shelter. Mom is a purebred Bichon and dad was ? We are guessing Havanese. Momma Star has a wonderful disposition and will be up for adoption once her medical is done. Spot is the only one left out of a litter of four.
Here is what the puppies foster mom has to say: These pups are ready and on 3/25 reached the age of 13 weeks. . They've been raised by a great Momma-Star has been phenomenal and still looks after them. They've been socialized, handled, and given love. They're also responding well to potty training-very little work left on that front. We feel these pups will easily find homes because of their gentle disposition and the great start they've had. No abuse or stress at all.
Star"s puppies are happy and playful individually and with each other. They accept being handled by their human friends. These pups are confident and comfortable. Their disposition is gentle, loving, and pleasant. They pay close attention to instruction. They've been socialized well with other dogs and are responding well to all their training, including the use of weewee pads and doing their business outside. They are beautiful and their soft coats don't seem to shed. They are comfortable while being groomed!
Spot: he"s engaging, vocal, curious and observant. He enjoys playing and is a lot of fun. He's vocal while playing and quiet the rest of the time. He's sweet and quiet for the most part. He's cuddly and gentle. Spot is used to having someone who is home most of the day and also a secure, fenced yard to play in. He is a puppy and therefore very energetic as most puppies are. Therefore we would prefer someone who is home most of the day, has a secure yard and is as active and as energetic as he is.
As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match.
WE DO NOT ADOPT OUR DOGS TO HOMES WITH UNALTERED PETS...NO EXCEPTIONS! WHY? CLICK ON SPAY/NEUTER ON THE LEFT HAND MENU.
In order to adopt one of these wonderful pups please see the side menu under adoption info.
