This unusual little boy is a purebred 6 lb. chihuahua who is a blue merle in color - just like a mini Queensland Heeler.  Dugan is about 3 years old and sooo sweet.  He is very shy, as you can see from the pics, but is very loving and affectionate.  He would do best in a quiet home with someone who has a lap available most of the time.  We think that Dugan will blossom once he is in his forever home. 

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE.
