Patty is a sweet-natured Manchester mix who seems to fit in everywhere.  She is friendly and happy go lucky.  Patty weighs10 lbs. and is about 11 mos. old.

This is a story from Patty's rescuer, Jim:  Parking Lot Patty has a story that started out sad, but has gotten remarkably happier in a short time, and is going to end with her being “Perfectly Loved Patty”!

Patty was seen being dumped by her scum-bag former owners, at 11pm on a Saturday night in a grocery store parking lot. When I went to the store shopping early Sunday morning I saw clearly anxious, depressed and scared Patty wondering around that parking lot. Most of you have probably seen that sad scene with lost dogs wandering the street.

Store employees told me about her and it was clear she needed to be Rescued! This is where the story turns much happier. With the help of a wonderful young lady (Patty), working at the store, we caught our little scared girl and I took her to the Stockton Animal Shelter. She was named Patty in honor of the wonderful lady “Patty” that did so much to catch her!

A few days later, our little Patty found herself the star of our bi-weekly Mega 100 Radio Program with Tony Bear!

And, today, Patty got transported to the fantastic ResQ Animal Coalition in Redding (along with 10 other Stockton dogs!)…and we’re sure Patty and all those dogs will be placed in great forever homes, by the Rescue. So, a very happy ending is on the horizon for Patty!

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
