Star is a 3 year old purebred Bichon who would love a home and family that would appreciate her loving, friendly nature.  Star was born with a congenital eye defect that required the removal of her eye, but we think she is beautiful no matter what.  Star is used to having vision in only one eye and it really doesn't seem to affect her at all.  She is your typical Bichon, very attached to her people, friendly with just about anything and everyone.  Star will make a great addition to any home.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
