This gorgeous girl is a 4 year old purebred Pomeranian who is only about 5.5 to 6 lbs.  She loves to go bye-bye and would fit perfectly into a purse!  She's your typical Pom, very loving, and very full of herself - a bit of a princess - lol!  She's got 'tude and will take on any other dog that she thinks she needs to take on!  She goes to the dog park and loves to bark at the big dogs and show off.  She does well with other small dogs but would actually prefer to be an only child or with one other small dog who is not larger than herself (no large dogs, please) .  She's not a player with other dogs, just ignores them at home.  She does like to play with toys with her human and fetch. 

Daisy would love a quiet home with someone home most of the day.   She can tend to be a bit skittish and doesn't like to meet new people, but will warm up after she gets to know you and as long as its on her terms - her behavior in this regard is kind of cat-like.  In fact, Daisy was raised with kitties and seems to have quite of few of their behaviors. 

Daisy's previous owner did not want her because she decided that she wanted to travel - which we don't understand because Daisy is very portable and does well in the car.  Her loss though and someone else's gain.  Daisy needs a special someone who will give her a forever home and not cast her aside for any reason.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
