Rocky is the handsomest, calmest, sweetest boy you'll ever want to meet.  He's about 2 years old and is probably a small standard doxie.  His owners had to give him up when they moved and could only take one dog.  (Can't imagine how hard that was).  And its been hard on Rocky too - he grieved for a few days but is coming around and realizing that other people can love him too.  Rocky gets along great with other dogs.  Please consider giving this boy his forever home.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
