This one year old precious little girl is soooo sweet, so well mannered, but very shy and unsure of herself.  As you can see from her pics, Spice was willing to let us do just about anything to her - lol! 

Spice was found as a stray with her mom Pumpkin and taken to an out of area shelter where they were both about to be euthanized.  Spice, being so very shy, was not "showing" well to potential adopters so therefore due to space issues, her time was up.  Well, as a small rescue, we also have space issues but could not fathom this little girl being put to sleep because of it.  We know, it happens all the time and that is the reality, but this time we were able to make a difference.  Perhaps a special adopter out there can also make a difference and change this baby's life for the better.   If you feel you are that special someone, please fill out our online app.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
