What a handsome guy!  Earl is a very sound, well-bred retired show dog.   His line has been screened for PRA (poodle fanciers will know about this).  If you have always wanted a standard poodle show dog, Earl is for you.  He weighs about 60 lbs. is 9 years old and has many good years left to make someone a wonderful companion since he has been well taken care of.  Earl is friendly, gets along well with other dogs but would prefer a female dog as a companion.  Please excuse Earl's haircut - but the good news is, that it will grow out!

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
