Freya is a 6 year old, 21 lb. purebred black schnauzer who is super sweet and loving. She would love a home where she could just be the sweetheart she is, loved and cared for.  Freya was surrendered by her owner and was used for breeding purposes after having had multiple litters.  But now she will no longer have to endure that issue.  Freya's ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and can give her the training and attention that she needs to realize her full potential.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
