This adorable little gremlin is a 9 lb, 7 year old mini schnauzer - yes , you read correctly, 9 lbs. He is listed on his paperwork as a toy schnauzer but we know that officially, there is no such thing. He is in excellent health and boy, does he have a lot of spunk! He has a strong prey drive so if you have small animals or birds, this would not be the dog for you. He would most likely make a great watch dog but if someone comes into the home he is immediately their friend (just don't let the burglar know that - lol) He is very friendly, loving and a great all around companion. Fritz's ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time, has a desire to spend time with him on training, and lots of daily walks and exercise!

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY. NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience.
