Quigley is a 5 year old, super playful, happy little shih tzu.  He is very friendly, gets along well with other dogs and people.  Quigley just wants to be by you, is typical of the breed but would benefit from a home where someone is home most of the time, can spend time to play with him and take him walking or in the car.  Another small dog companion would be great also.  Quigley does have some skin issues right now that he is being treated for but with time his coat will improve.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
