Simon is the very sweetest 1 year old little Havanese that you could want..  His fur was down to the ground when we received him from the shelter but underneath was a mass of mats.  So we had to trim most of it, but as you can see were able to save some.  He has the most wonderful personality, very friendly, happy and not a mean bone in his body. Has quite a bit of energy.  Gets along well with other dogs.  Simon's ideal home would be with a young, active family with kids and with another young dog to play with.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
