Teddy is an unusual chocolate and tan, 5 year old, long haired chihuahua.  Teddy is the sweetest little guy you can imagine.  He was surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him.  Teddy is most likely housetrained, gets along fine with other dogs, cats   He is very submissive and would just love a person to call his own.  Teddy's ideal home would be with a senior companion who was still able to take him on daily walks and outings.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING.
