Schwartz (yes, that is really his name but he doesn't answer to it) is a beautiful, black purebred Pomeranian, about 8 years old.  Schwartz is a bit larger, about 12 lbs., but if you know anything about Poms, the larger they are, the less health issues they have.  Schwartz is in great health, his teeth are good, and he is just waiting for the perfect home.  He is very friendly, loving, and did we say handsome?  He will make someone a great walking companion, as he is still energetic and playful.  Poms are a long lived breed so Schwartz will be with us for a good long time.  His adoption fee is $150.

YOU MUST HAVE A SECURE, FENCED YARD TO ADOPT ONE OF OUR DOGS.  PARTIAL FENCING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.  Please see side menu for an explanation.

As with most rescue/shelter dogs, he or she may or may not be housebroken, or at the least need a readjustment /re-training period. If you are not able or willing to retrain a dog with housebreaking in a gentle, repetitious manner please DO NOT APPLY.  NEW DOGS REQUIRE SPECIAL HANDLING, TIME and CARE. MAKE SURE YOU ARE WILLING TO MAKE THIS COMMITMENT BEFORE APPLYING. 

We require adopters to first fill out our adoption app online. You cannot proceed with the adoption without it. This application has been developed using over 25 years of experience. It helps the adopter and us to make only the beginning of a good match; please be advised that if you do fill out the application, you may not be suitable for the dog you are applying for OR you may not meet our adoption requirements.
