As you can guess, she's named for her color - a deep, dark shiny chocolate. A gorgeous purebred Cocker who is 4 mos. old. She is very affectionate, but lets her sister check out new stuff and hangs back to see if there's anything to be concerned about.
She and her sister were surrendered to rescue because the owner's Mastiff was abusing these beauties and they were concerned for their safety. They have been well-cared for, raised with children and other dogs. They both are very affectionate, social and happy little girls.
These girls will also need regular trips to the beauty shop and should be inside dogs only.

Adopting a friend
To adopt an animal from us we will require that you fill out a pre - adoption questionnaire and have at least one interview with you. Adoption fees vary and cover the costs of any medical attention including shots, rabies for dogs over 4 months, spay/neuter, heartworm test, wormings, grooming, etc. These fees are tax deductible. We also reserve the right to make a home visit to see where the animal is to be kept and verify fencing is secure. We take our adoptions very seriously, and reserve the right to choose the best home possible for those that can not speak for themselves!!!
